Color you can feel.
Original abstract art by Julian Alcantar
You may know me as the guy from Craftie Night.
For over 10 years, I’ve been teaching social art classes, and today I run Craftie Night, where I teach hundreds of people to make art across Michigan and Indiana. But before the classes, the events, all of it, I was a painter. This is where my own work lives. The pieces I make when it’s just me, the canvas, and too much color.
Fresh from the easel
New originals, added as they’re finished. When one sells, it’s gone.
Collected in series.
Some pieces belong together. The Transmuting Violet series is five numbered originals exploring one color from five moods. Collect one, or chase the set.
Made for your walls.
Want something that was made for your space and nobody else’s? Tell me your colors, your size, your story. I’ll paint the rest.

Every month, select pieces go to auction. Starting bids well below gallery price. When the timer ends, someone takes it home.
